History

Zora and her twin Pera where born in Gyr Abania located on the border between Ala Mhigo and the Shroud, to their mothers Ayah and Rhea. During their early years they learned to hunt and basic survival skills - life was simple. The Garlean Invasion changed everything. The family was caught by surprise but sprung to action. Zora and Pera were told to run, but Zora tripped over a root and was captured. She told Pera to keep running - that was the last she would see of her twin for two decades. At only eight summers, Zora was taken into Garlean custody, along with her mothers, who had been quickly overwhelmed.Zora was separated from her mothers. Her captor, Centurion Eligius quo Torquatus had captured one other child, a highlander boy of 12 summers named Tomas. Zora still has a lot of trauma from this time in her life. After two years, Ayah and Rhea managed to break her out, and the three of them escaped to Gridania. They searched for Pera, but could not find her. During their search, they came across a Sharlyan scholar who was intrigued with Ayah's unique take on conjury. He offered to sponsor the family to relocate to Old Sharlyan.Zora was put into school in Old Sharlyan, and picked up playing the oboe, which sparked her love of music. She played in a fairly prestigious youth orchestra during this time. Eventually, she went through the necessary schooling and training to become a gleaner, a job which she still holds and enjoys to this day. It takes her all over the world, and engages her studious, curious mind, as well as her wanderlust and earning for adventure.Zora took an important job directly from the Forum that would take her to the Ruby Sea. While there, she fell within range of one of the Telophoroi's towers, and was tempered. Recently, she was found and brought to Ul'dah for treatment. She awoke there, with no memory of the tower or the job that had put her into harm's way.By chance, or maybe fate, she wandered into the Quicksands and was reunited with her twin, Pera, who was able to help her get back onto her feet.

OOC

  • Thank you for reading my carrd!

  • Player is 21+ (30) and LGBTQ+ friendly and would like to keep interactions that way.

  • Keep OOC and IC separate! I don't want any IC drama spilling over in OOC.
